soul learning

Held in safe and soothing spaces online through Zoom, email, and by phone with therapist and writer Dionne St. Hill. Together we reflect, explore ideas, unpack your experiences and creatively capture them on page.

how it works

We have weekly get-togethers, giving you the opportunity to share your work, both one-to-one and in a group setting.

At the end of each course, you will be rewarded with a portfolio of work that celebrates you – your authenticity, your vulnerability, your courage… your dreams… and your ability to reflect, process and discover.

Each week, over our 6-week course together , I will provide reflective reading notes, poetry, literature extracts, music videos, programme clips, artwork, writing exercises and assignments designed to inspire and prompt your exploratory writing.

You will submit your writing to me once a week and I will provide feedback. There will be an optional get-together via zoom at the end of the 6 weeks to connect and celebrate with other writers who have completed the course.

writing is your soul’s medicine. Learn how to begin. Release judgement and self-criticism. Discover the therapeutic and creative magic of writing through personal reflections, deep excavation, and imaginative exploration. Using prompts, exercises, lyrical language, and personal learning you will be rewarded with a portfolio of writing and a stronger sense of self.

Finding yourself through writing and existential reflection. Become aware of your choices and reflect on your meaning and purpose in this philosophical writing course.

this is my life

autobiographical writing and storytelling. Telling your story in your own words. You are the expert of your life. Tell, write and re-write your story and your future story in ways that feel affirming, authentic and liberating.

here and now

writing and mindfulness. How writing stops time. Discover writing as meditation, affirmation, and medicine for your soul. Write your own grounding techniques. Examine unconscious thoughts and feelings. Try future journaling – the art of writing out and experiencing your desires before they have happened
